600-1000kw Super Sound Enclosure • Manufactured by Chillicothe Metal Company in Chillicothe, Il in the year 1997. • This enclosure was designed to set on a concrete slab and house a Caterpillar 3412 generator set package. • Designed to achieve an approximate average sound level of 72dBa when measured at a distance of 7 meters when using the above listed generator set. • 14 gauge steel. • Dimensions are 106” wide X 128” tall X 372” long. • Piano hinged doors with key lock latches. • Enclosure has a formed steel skirt installed under it. • Stainless steel fasteners were used throughout the enclosure. • 2” thick mineral wool insulation and a perforated galvanized liner installed to the walls and ceiling. • Sound attenuating air intake hood and a sound attenuating plenum for the radiator discharge air. • Sound baffles are installed in both of the air intake hood and discharge plenum. Estimating the weight 12,000lbs. Not including genset and belly tank weights
