8 by 3 1/4-Inch Chinese Chef Knife. This knife is stamped 'factory seconds" because there are a few flaws in the blade (the worse can be seen in the  last  photo). Also, because this knife was in a bin with other cleavers, there are also some small surface scratches too. These are all just cosmetic issues. The blade edge is perfect and the handle is very tight.  If you look closely at the 9th photo you will see that the person who electro-etched the blade did a messy job resulting in that wash mark. It looks much in the reflection of the photo than it actually is. If you've ever bought a "second" knife from me before, then you already know that I will not sell a knife that has anything else than a cosmetic flaw (unless otherwise stated). High Carbon Steel Blade. (High carbon steel can stain, especially from acids like lemon, etc. Be sure to wash the blade soon after exposing it to acids. Chinese knives that have staining just adds to the charm of a traditional oriental knife.)
