Easily and effortlessly cut your potatoes into thin strips with this Choice 1/4" French fry cutter! Featuring a durable cast iron body and handle, this durable cutter is rust-proof and easy-to-clean. Plus, this heavy-weight material ensures stability in the legs. For optimum stability and safety, mount your cutter to a cutting board, wooden countertop, or wall. Four screw holes are provided for your convenience. This cutter includes a 1/4" blade assembly and push block, but is compatible with all Choice parts (sold separately).  For a vintage touch, this handle includes the embossed label "French Fry Cutter" on both sides. Thanks to its long design and rounded edge, this handle provides firm grip, while comfortably fitting inside your hand for long use. Overall, it's easy to maneuver! Extending flat to a 180 degrees, this handle operates in one swift motion. It pushes your potato from one side of the cutter, all the way through the blade. The blade frames are the same size and the mounting screws at positioned at the same locations. However, the replacement blades and pusher blocks are not compatible with Nemco fry cutters. What are the measurements between the mounting holes?Width: 6 3/4” apart Length: 10” apart Can I use this French fry / potato cutter when working with sweet potatoes?No, it is recommended to not use sweet potatoes with this French fry / potato cutter since sweet potatoes are too hard and too dense to properly pass through the cutter blades. Forcing sweet potatoes through could ultimately end up breaking the blades. Does this cutter require mounting for use or can it be used free standing?We recommend mounting this cutter before using it to ensure stability and easy handling. You can mount it on either a large cutting board or a wall with a solid backing.
