What I am selling is an R-8 collet adapter for the Cincinnati Monoset Tool and Cutter grinder. I made one of these for myself after sifting through hundreds of collet auctions where used series C collets were being offered at what I thought were "very ambitious" prices. Most every shop has a set of R-8 collets lying around, and 99% of monoset work is in the standard R-8 1/16th sizes. My first adapter, which I am still using, has a runout of less than .001" TIR at 1" from the collet...the unit I am selling shows the same accuracy. I don't know if you have ever tested the runout on your older C Series collets, but I have several where the runout exceeds .008". I am selling the set-up for $250.00, with $15.00 shipping in the U.S., and I guarantee satisfaction.
