For Sale Cincinnati Milling Machine Versamill This versatile mill has a 5 horsepower motor on the horizontal and a 3 horsepower motor on the vertical . We used it to machine large square knives for the tire shredding business & due to my very bad fall last year from a 14' scaffold onto asphalt headfirst, which gave me some very extensive injuries, we have decided to sell all of my machine shop equipment and slow down to recover. What is very unique about this machine is that you can operate the horizontal spindle and the vertical spindle simaltaniously and adjust all axis offering you the opportunity to machine parallel and perpindicular simultaniously and at the same time, like but not limited to boring a hole through a block of metal with the variable horizontal 5 horsepower spiindle & machine a plane that would be parallel and perpindicular to that bored surface without having to reclamp or reposition; thus turning the average machinist into an expert machinist. I machined titaniam landing gears that the surface had to be parallel & perpindicular to each other within +/- .1000s. When I finished 100 of these parts, 100% passed thru inspection within =/-.0003. If you need a machine that is versatile & made by Cincinnati, yet takes up very little of your shop space, this is the machine for you. All axis have gear driven adjustable travel and variable spindle speed. Once you have used this machine, it will be easy for you to understand why Cincinnati names this their VERSAMILL.
