Circon solid state color micro video system This CCD camera is intended for use with microscopes, endoscopes, and other such devices. The CCD module is on a cable 21.5 feet long. The camera has a lens connector 1" across and the other end has a round recessed male 24-pin connector that plugs into the back of the main unit. The controls include an on/off switch, a sensitivity knob that runs from 0 to 500%, illumination intensity high/best/low indicator lights, and a light source compensation knob running from 2300 to 6000. On the back is a 24-pin camera cable connector, a coaxial video output connector, and a round female 7-pin connector for an auto-iris. It takes 110V power from a hospital-grade power cord. We didn't have a lens or other such adapter available to give a clearly focused image, but when the unit was turned on and the output sent to a monitor it lit up with colors and vague shapes that were appropriate to the light falling on the CCD.
