This is a receipt printer with automatic cutter that can be used with many computerized POS systems. It uses 3 1/8th" or 79mm thermal rolls. It connects via a standard serial interface. Works with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7, but not Windows 8 which is why we had to go out and spend $300 + dollars on a new receipt printer. Anyway if you don't have Windows 8 (lucky you) and there is a serial port on your system - you can use this. All the cords are included except the phone style RJ12 cord that feeds to till so it will open automatically but that cord if you use it will be part of your till. The software drivers & manuals etc are available online. Setting up serial printers can be a little tricky for the non-technical so keep that in mind. The last photo is a print out from the actual printer showing the internal settings right now - which can be changed via DIP switch settings inside the printer. The ideal use for this printer would be to replace an identical unit that is part of a POS system you just want to keep going.
