The Civil Defense Landers, Frary & Clark CDV-715 Model 1A Radiological Survey Meter is a high-level gamma radiation measurement unit originally manufactured for the United States Government's Office of Civilian Defense. For any further questions or inquiries, please don't hesitate to contact us. The Maricopa County Department of Emergency Management in Arizona has donated this particular unit, which is in good used condition with only minor wear and tear on its paint and a few scratches on the clear plastic meter lens. This meter will be shipped in a United States Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate box. While the battery has not corroded, the unit is currently non-operational and requires recalibration. This unit is designed to be used in radioactive fallout shelters during the Cold War era. Please note that this meter measures high-level gamma radiation readings and operates with one size D battery that is not included.
