Fixed or Dual Speed Centrifuges designed for Cell Washing and Serum Separations Locking Lid for Added Safety Precision Speed Control Low Maintenance Finish Ultra Quiet Operation Supplied with an unbreakable 12 Place plastic rotor that accommodates blood tubes up to 12.7 dia x 75mm long. The tubes achieve a 45° angle when the rotor is in motion and return to a vertical position when the centrifuge is at rest. A six place or 8 place aluminum rotor are also sold separately. All rotors utilize numbered slots to aid in sample identification. The numbered slots also allow you to fill, centrifuge, transport, incubate or empty tubes as a group - no need to handle tubes individually. The supplied rotor and the 6 or 8 place aluminum rotor are interchangeable and can be locked into place or removed with only light finger pressure. The control panel features an advanced keypad that allows precise setting of speed and run time. The four digit display on the control panel shows you the run time you selected and has a count down feature to indicate how much time is left in a run. Maximum run time per program is 99 minutes and 99 seconds. The user also controls the breaking rate and has the ability to repeat runs by recalling previous run parameters entered in the keypad. A window in the locking lid of the unit allows the user to monitor speed with the on-board tachometer. The locking lid cannot be opened until the rotor has come to a complete stop. Additionally there is a gasket seal around the lid to protect the user from exposure to aerosols in the rotor chamber. The centrifuges are mounted on four cushioned, rubber feet to minimize sound and vibration. The base and lid are manufactured from molded polycarbonate with a white polyurethane enamel finish. Dimensions are 17L x 13W x 12H inches. Weight is 28 lb. Sero-Fuge 2001 Fixed speed models. Sero-Fuge 2001 (120V) has an operating speed of 3400rpm/1049xG. Sero-Fuge 2001 (230V) has an operating speed of 2800rpm/724xG.
