It was purchased from a local school system where it was surplus equipment because it was never used. It has been FULLY REFURBISHED including being cleaned, serviced and thoroughly tested. The kettle functions perfectly without any issues whatsoever. You will have a very hard time finding a cleaner, better maintained example of this 40 gallon kettle. As with all used equipment there may be some minor cosmetic imperfections such as surface scratches minor dents or dings. This Cleveland 40 gallon stationary steam jacketed kettle boasts precise, solid state electronic temperature controls, and heats evenly from all sides, which eliminates hot spots to yield consistently ideal results. Its LED readouts ensure easy monitoring of the heat cycle and water level so you spend less time watching the kettle and more time focusing on other tasks. Plus, its stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting durability and easy cleaning! Its rolled rim can stand up to abuse, preventing damage to the kettle, and the heavy-duty flanged feet allow you to bolt the kettle to the floor.
