Here is my extra long NEMA 10-30 clothes dryer appliance cord. It allows you to reach a 3 prong clothes dryer receptacle from a good distance with your clothes dryer or other machine. Use on clothes dryers, welders, plasma cutters, air compressor and small electric stoves. The cord is 15 feet long, it is a "10ga" cord. I installed a real long cord a lot like this on my dryer a few months ago and its been running perfectly with no problems. I don't just make these and sell them, I use them too. Pictures 1 and 2 are of the actual item. You will have a modular black male plug end, 15 feet of black SO cable shown in pictures 2 and 3 and on the other end of the cable you will have 3 fork connection lugs a lot like the lugs shown in picture 1 for attaching the cord to the back of your machine. Round lugs, butt connectors, no lugs or wire nuts are optional. The cord is only intended for indoor use in dry locations. If you want to plug your welding machine or electric cooking range into a clothes dryer outlet, because that's all you have and you flip your 30 amp clothes dryer breaker absolutely under no circumstances should you remove the 30 amp clothes dryer breaker and install a higher amp breaker. The circuit breaker is there to protect the wiring inside the walls. If your machine or appliance is flipping the breaker, that's because the circuit breaker is doing its job and you need to turn the machine down. This cord is intended for 30 amp circuits only. Always cut power to the circuit and verify (by trying to turn the machine on) that power is actually off before plugging in or unplugging any 240 volt connection then unplug before trying install or remove a machines power cord. This cord can be installed on any welding machines, plasma cutters, air compressors that that draw 30 amps and you may be able to install it on machines that up to 50 amps, as long as the manufacture recommends a 10 gauge or smaller cord. Such as a Lincoln AC-225 stick welder, mine came with a 12 gauge cord. Or a miller 625 plasma cutter, mine came with a 6 gauge cord but only draws 30 amps for up to 5 minutes on, 5 minutes off max, so 10 gauge is more than sufficient.
