All CMC Rescue Pulleys are UL Classified to NFPA 1983 for General Use, assuring that no details have been overlooked in their high-efficiency functions. These pulleys are the fundamental building blocks in most rescue systems. With sealed ball bearings, the loss of mechanical advantage is minimized. The high-strength aluminum side plates have smooth, rounded edges that minimize rope fraying and the large carabiner hole supports multiple carabiners. The bottom of the pulley is shaped for maximum efficiency with Prusik hitches and is also compatible with Gibbs-type ascenders. The large anodized aluminum sheaves provide maximum efficiency, while the low-profile axle fasteners reduce snags when the pulley is being used. Note that while there are markings on the side plates, the pulley itself is in great condition. It is sold "as is" and should be used at your own risk. Choose this CMC Rescue Pulley for an unparalleled rescue experience and an essential tool for all fire and rescue operations. For sale: CMC Rescue Pulley for Fire and Rescue operations, with compatibility for Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. This pulley has been used for low to medium angle rope rescue training for 2 days, and is kept clean and unharmed. It works seamlessly with Clean 1/2 inch rope for optimal results. While not recommended for use as a belay system, it still has many other benefits.
