CN2000A INSTA-PLUG is a rapid setting, nontoxic integrated cementitious capillary crystalline water-plug material designed to stop active water leaks. CN2000A INSTA-PLUG can be used on following substrates: Concrete Cracks in Bedrock Masonry Earthenware Stone Advantages: CN2000A instantly stops water flow. CN2000A can be used underwater. Easy to apply, with high strength and durability. Final set time 15 minutes. Initial set time is 2 to 10 minutes. Packaging: 25kg Plastic Pails Storage: Store in dry place between 20?F and 100?F. Unopened, undamaged original packaging is shelf stable for 2 years. How to Use CN2000A INSTA-PLUG: The application surface must be clear and free of any surface contamination. Leakage area must be cut back to sound substrate, providing an appropriately roughened surface for the application of the CN2000A INSTA-PLUG material. Mixing: Setting time is dependent on the amount of water used. Mix ratio at 68?F is CN2000A: water = 1: 0.25 to 0.3 (in weight). The CN2000A must be added to the water and mixed quickly. When the mix pack begins to get hot and pliable after 2 or 3 minutes, it is ready to be applied (The timing is dependent on the ambient temperature and humidity). In cold weather when ambient temperature is below 32?F , use warm water. In higher temperature, use cold water. Application: To avoid waste, only small quantities of CN2000A INSTA-PLUG should be mixed. After the mixture has reached the application state, apply the CN2000A INSTA-PLUG to the appropriate area immediately by forming the material into a wedge shape and forcing it into the leakage or cavity by pounding with a block of wood or hammer to ensure a firm bond with the damp substrate surface. After the leak has stopped, remove excess material. After the CN2000A INSTA-PLUG is applied, and scraped flush with the surrounding substrate surface. To plug larger holes or cracks CN2000A INSTA-PLUG can be mixed with fibers for filler material and added strength. CN2000A INSTA-PLUG can be effectively applied at temperatures from 25?F to 100?F.
