Coaxial Dynamics Model 3022 directional power detector This auction is for a Coaxial Dynamics Model 3022 directional power detector in good condition. This directional power detector was removed from a military transceiver and was designed to detect forward and reflected power from the transmitter connected to the input with an antenna or other load connected to the output. The label says that it covers the frequency range of 225 to 400 MHz at input power levels to 12 Watts. What the label doesn't say is that it covers much more that those frequencies. Swept measurements indicate it will easily cover frequencies from 100 to more than 500 MHz. Performance of the detectors was measured from 100 to 500 MHz at an input level of +20 dBm. The measured outputs of the forward and reverse detectors with and without loads are shown in the table. Two connectors are included with the detector for the forward and reverse ports as shown. No other connectors, adapters, or loads are included. The input and output connectors are TNC, but they will mate with a type N connector (see photos). Or, if the threads are ground off the TNC connectors with a Dremel tool, they will mate with common BNC connectors. Payment Options: Paypal is preferred.
