What is for sale is the fiber array that is used in the FAP (Fiber Array Package) from Coherent. These were assembled by Coherent in the US - California using fiber and other components made in the USA. These are 19 - 100 micron fibers that are laid out in linear array with the correct spacing to couple light from the diode bar into the fibers. The output end is then the 19 fibers in a round configuration that mates up to a 800um fiber for transport, or other laser pumping. There is a cylindrical lens on the linear end of the fibers to help couple light in from the fast axis of the diodes. The fibers have anti reflective coating from 700nm to about 1000nm for less then .5% reflection. These could be used for experimenting with the diode bars that I have for sale. The second photo shows how the fibers are positioned in the FAP package - THIS IS NOT WHAT IS FOR SALE.- only the fiber array. No returns, no international shipping.
