This Cold Trap is made of 304SS MADE IN USA, utilizing Polycarbonate lids for Durability, flexibility and Chemical Resistance to alcohol and solvents. This system is Recommended to protect pump from condensable vapors. This Trap comes with an industrial grade, heat cured silicone gasket designed only for our systems. No adhesives are used! The system will maintain a vacuum only under vacuum. The vacuum pump will hold the interior 2 quart container for your Dry Ice Slurry in compression with the larger outer lid. The larger outer Lid will be held in compression with 1.5 gallon outer container. The barbs sticking out of both sides are 1/4" barbs that will connect to 1/4" ID hose. No hose is included with this Cold Trap. The Center Slurry Container has a lid for it, This lid simply helps prevent evaporation of your slurry. Yes, all of our chambers have been tested to their limits to ensure that they are strong enough for their advertised applications. Polycarbonate is an inherently strong material which works excellent for this application. Can these chambers be heated? Yes, many of our customers routinely heat these chambers. The chamber can safely be heated up to 160F, in excess of that the user assumes all risk. What kind of pump do you recommend for your resin trap? The pump that we currently sell for these chambers is ideal. We recommend a 3CFM or 6 CFM single stage pump for rapid degassing. Any pump larger than 3CFM or 2 stages will work for this chamber as well. What if my eBay info is incorrect and the chamber is shipped to the wrong address? The buyer is solely responsible to ensure their shipping information is correct, we will not be liable for lost packages. We try our best to get these items shipped out the next day.
