STANLEY Boxwood Rule/Brass Caliper Tool Combination No. 32 Made In New Britain, Connecticut Vintage solid brass quality tool manufacturer, this 4” STANLEY, No. 32 solid boxwood rule/brass caliper combination tool in its burnished original finish due to a previous owner’s careful use and proper storage allowing for a graceful ageing. To continue this care, this unique tool will be sent in a convenient gift/storage box Made in U.S.A., this vintage boxwood rule with sliding brass caliper has a near-mint appearance with slight ageing marks along with some small tarnish spots and minor scuffs but no distracting scratches, gauges, unsightly surface dings, or past owner identity markings. With removal of bits of dirt/grime from its cracks/crannies through a bit of careful professional polishing restoration, this very fine tool could take on a definite near-mint appearance with absolute splendid eye-appeal. All of the digits and measurement marks are clear and readable without problem. The brass caliper slide moves without binding and providing measurement increment lines. All the barrel hinges and arch joint move without difficulty and there is definite durable strength in holding any angle as demonstrated in the pictures. The backside of the tool provides larger black numbering and measurement increment lines.
