A GRADE POSTAGE REGISTERED WITH TRACKING NUMBER Coloplast Biatain Ag Adhesive Foam Antimicrobial Dressing With Silver  12,5X12,5-5X5in Box of 5 pcs dressings  Expire Date: 2018-11-19 Biatain Super Absorbent Hydrocapillary Dressing.Can be used for the treatment of a wide range of exuding wounds, including leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, second degree burns, surgical wounds and skin abrasions. Biatain Super is suitable for use under compression therapy. It is a highly absorbent hydrocapillary dressing providing an optimal, moist wound healing environment for exuding wounds. Fast absorption, distribution and retention of exudate enable full utilization of the absorption capacity with minimal risk of maceration and leakage, even for highly exuding wounds. The hydrocapillary pad rapidly absorbs exudate vertically and distributes it horizontally. The dressings ensure an optimal moist wound healing environment. Compared to other highly absorbing dressings, Biatain is a cost-effective solution with no need for additional wound contact layers. The superabsorbent particles absorb and retain high amounts of exudate. Fibers distribute the exudate through the pad to maximize absorption. A high Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate contributes to the superior exudate management capabilities. Biatain consists of a superabsorbent hydrocapillary pad with a semi-permeable, water- and bacteria proof top film, a hydrocolloid component for the adhesion. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Coloplast Biatain Ag Adhesive Foam Antimicrobial Dressing With Silver manages low to high wound exudate levels Releases silver ions according to the amount of exudate present in the wound Release persists for up to 7 days Demonstrates wide spectrum antimicrobial efficacy against bacteria Features an adherent foam, suitable where surrounding skin is intact Sacral and Heel dressing features hydrocolloid border which reduces need for secondary dressing Suitable for the treatment of: - Leg ulcers - Pressure ulcers - Diabetic foot ulcers - Smaller second-degree burns - Postoperative wounds - Skin abrasions
