Complete 19-Ring Document Comb Binder System Plus the following Combs: 40-Large 40-Medium 40-Small, each size series is four groups: 10 Red + 10 White + 10 Blue + 10 Black. To show all these included 12-groups of comb/color combinations required three separate photos.  The buyer may be able to bind 120 projects before buying additional comb binders, always available from office supply stores. Usually newly purchased home-office comb binder sets include only one or two sizes, and those are usually in only one color.  This robust comb collection of colors and sizes provides greater than usual versatility starting on the first day of ownership.  That's very different from being limited to one color of one comb  size compared to the 12 comb size/color choices included with this system. If you occasionally create or download and print multi-page manuals or other documents, or your family's children in school occasionally need to submit long papers that would be improved by professional-appearing comb binding, this complete comb binding system might be useful to your family. Please examine and use eBay's photo-enlarge tool the attached photos. Slide your mouse back & forth, flipping between my 3rd & 4th photos to SEE a little 2-frame movie showing how the side levers open and close the comb-retainer.  That action enables easy page loading into the combs. This punch machine can bind standard 8-1/2" x 11" sheets from their long side or from their short side.  That's common.  What's not common among entry-level priced comb-binder punches is this machine's extra long length capacity which is allows it to accept 13-inch long sheets!  If you do bind a 13-inch edge, you may buy 22-ring combs to match the extra-long 22-hole punch series, or you can leave the top-most and the bottom-most slots open.  Then use a standard length 19-ring comb.  When you bind short-edge stacks, just use scissors or a paper cutter to shorten a comb to the length you want.  But save the remaining length so you can use it later to bind another short-length project.  Plan your shortened binder strategy well to minimize your family's comb replacement expenses.  You and your family can comb bind more than one short-length binding project from each shortened original-length comb. A formerly-common short length binding job was photo collections, perhaps common as short-length documents were.  Years ago, local photo labs popularly offered to customers comb-bound photo groups as an optional extra-cost product. Many buyers chose to have their vacation photos bound rather than receive them as unbound photos. Bound photo groups became well-appreciated presents by family members during Christmas and birthday gatherings.  Grandparents today would still appreciate receiving bound hard copy photo groups selected to show their off-spring family's recent activities.  Many home-offices today include color printers capable of roughly duplicating the classic appearance of chemically-processed photos when printing on high-quality photo paper.  This is a chance to bound photograph compilation gifts that align well with any gift receiver's taste.  Just comb-bind high-quality well selected photos you know they will find interesting.  Owing a home-office document/photo binder like this enables creating bound photo-compilation gifts targeting each family member's taste. Observe the two pivoting handles at each end.  They work together to open and close the comb you insert so you can drop punched pages into the opened comb. When the handles are pointing forward (photo 3), the comb is closed.  When the handles are pointing up (photo 4), the comb holder is at medium width.  When those handles are pointing toward the back (photo 5) , the comb holder is at its maximum opening width.  Why would you want more than one opening width?  Because combs are sold in MANY different widths to fit different stack thicknesses, not just different comb colors.   This punch comes with an excellent starting collection of combs in red, white, blue and tidy black.  There are three sizes which relates to how thick you intended document or photo stack to be, SMALL, MEDIUM & LARGE.  This offer includes a nice starter collection of combs:  10 red, 10 white, 10 blue and 10 black in EACH of those three sizes.  So that's 40 x 3 = 120 new combs in three sizes and four colors (I know, white and black are not really colors, but in common descriptive parlance, this linguistic application is now conventional). This punch is just over 17" long by 5-1/4" front to back and about 5-1/2" tall to the top of the hand pressure plunger.  The internal drive linkage produces a significant mechanical advantage, so the sharp metal cutter's are pushed down with much more force but a shorter stroke than the plunger handle.  The return spring is much stronger than needed. If you intend to bind LOTS of documents, as for frequently sending out 100 bound copies business, church or civic group, you should be looking at electric punch machines which are very expensive.  But for infrequent causal home office use, a system like this can produce pleasing results which appear as though they were created with a much more professional system. I ship within hours of receiving PayPal payments.  Due to weight and size, shipping cost is significantly higher than I wish it could be.  But if you use one of these systems and were occasionally paying a photo-copy center's prices for comb-binding jobs, removing the costs of driving to and from that store and paying retail prices for that service quickly justifies buying a system like this. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Seller Notes Bought it but then was given a used heavy-duty electric binder system, so this has not been used.It sat on an office table where it may have been rubbed by other office devices, but I don't see marks on it. This is a non-smoking home. Cats are eager to play with comb binders. Keeping them away from the combs has been the most difficult aspect of having this sit in our home office.
