Commercial Art and Advertising Layout 1938 Art Deco Print Ads Textbook *** Here is a very interesting book “Commercial Art, Advertising Layout: A New Encyclopedia of Commercial Art and Advertising Crafts, Complete with Layouts, Lettering, Monograms and Fashion Design. Studies in Anatomy, and Expression by the Great Masters” by E.C. Matthews. The book features a look at advertising, typography, lettering and print layout of the many commercial aspects of marketing with lots of interesting information, nicely illustrated, and exhaustive research. Copyright 1938 382 pages Publisher: Illustrated Editions Co The book measures approx. 10 by 7 inches. The cover is in good shape, some staining and fading on the covers. The spine end has some light wear. The boards and corners have some light rubbing. The hinges and binding are strong and tight. The pages are in crisp clean shape, a minor browning and foxing, small edge tear on ffep, slight basement or musty smell book is nice.
