We have been rebuilding and selling these setups for over 8 years and it is sad to see the cheap unsafe knock offs out for sale these days. Best price, best service, and safe equipment. We have helped over 200 people, who have never used a milking machine, learn how with little or no problems at all. Please do your research and make sure you are buying safe equipment where ever you buy (many knock off sellers who have no idea what they are selling and have no care for health safety). Make sure you get raw milk approved milk hoses (even eBays so called help section on milkers is 100% false info as it tells people food grade hoses are okay for raw milk). No raw milk approved hoses come with a black stripe on them, black striped clear hose is for air only and most are not even food grade. Food grade tubing is also not raw milk approved. Any stainless steel parts that touch milk should not have any welds or repairs that have burned black through to inside milk area. No brass fittings in milk lines or odd non raw milk approved fittings should ever be used where milk touches them. The old surge belly milking buckets with the flat carrying handle and seam around the middle of bucket have not been legal for milking since the 50's but people are selling them on here as safe to use. The metal allow used in the seams can get you sick over time and were not even allowed in a grade A or B dairy barn for over 60 years. Why would anyone raise animals to have there own healthy fresh milk, but then take a chance of getting really sick with unsafe milking equipment. Most states have laws against selling non approved and unsafe milking equipment. Many have copied my instructions and setup, but like most copies, they cut corners which will make the pump not last as long, and also are selling some very unsafe milkers by not using milk approved parts.Please people do not be fooled by these knock off"s with cheap harbor freight factory seconds, non raw milk approved parts. and copied instructions and use information. If a seller has to copy instructions and use info., do they really know what they are selling. Okay rant over and now the description. The first photo is of the belly hanging cow setup. The next 7 photo's are of the actual milker you will receive, but comes with choice of setup styles to match your needs. The rest of the photos are just options of setup styles and teat cup options we have available. We have all sizes of stainless teat cups, even the small vacuum saver designed by surge for jersey cows, but their small size works great on Mini cows, goats and sheep, or any smaller teat sizes. Once purchased, you will receive a email from us with milker set up questions and we can match everything from the questions. We can set it up with the long hose setup with shut off valves for each teat cup (makes it very easy to learn and use). With long hose setup you can milk one cow at a time or 2 goats or sheep at one time. With the belly style setup you can milk on cow at a time, like the photos with it on our cow. Belly setup comes with used hanging strap and rod. We have most sizes of teat cups and liners as the last photo's show. This setup is designed to last many years for small family home use. Recommended for up to 6 goats or 1 to 2 cows. This is not a setup for miking a whole heard, but more of a small quite portable unit for small family operations. Probably the lowest noise vacuum pump and lightest weight complete setup around. This is a 5 gallon milker bucket, has a couple smaller normal dings and dents on bottom resting area. Used completely rebuilt 2 pin style pulsator w/ new rebuild kit, All new rubber and hoses, 4 new shut offs (long hose style only). Milker lid has old finger tab and side lid flange repair which looks to have been resealed, not the pretty-est, but is solid. Under side of lid repair has buffing marks but is not burnt at all. Should still pass grade A inspection. Milker bucket is approx. 21 pounds. Vacuum pump is approx. 14 pounds and is a dual piston pump. Piston style vacuum pumps have been used for many years for milking and still are today. The surge Sp-11, BB-2 and others are all pistons style vacuum pumps. Small light weight, low noise (you won't need ear plugs to milk), maintenance free, vacuum pump. All new gauge, vacuum adjuster, and piping. Vacuum pump has no on?off switch, many like to hard wire into the barn or milking area. We like to use a power cord plug in strip with a on?off switch on it. This way you can have a on/off switch right by you and the milker. Comes complete with small bottle of pulsator oil (should last for many years), and cleaning brush for lid spouts and teat cups. Our instructions cover most all info needed and have helped many people who have never milked with a machine get up and running. We stand behind every setup we sell with a one year warranty, but like any warranty we can not stand behind sucking the machine full of poop or mud, so instruction must be followed for warranty. We carry all parts for the setups we sell, but have very little call for parts as they are made to last for many years.
