This kit includes: Fully Wired Heilyser JB200 Oxalic Acid Vaporizer wired with assembled wiring kit with in line switch, soldered battery clips, 10 feet of wire, (1) measuring scoop for acid, vaporizer instructions. Free tub of wood bleach with purchase.You will need to provide a power source. This vaporizer is the fastest vaporizer available and was developed for beekeepers who care for a large or small number of hives.  The JB200 is powered by a 12-Volt car, lawn tractor or motorcycle battery. With this system, it is possible to connect several vaporizers " in line " to treat more than one colony at the time.  This is not another disposable vaporizer. All parts are replaceable. With proper care and maintenance this unit will last a lifetime. The vaporizer is best suited to wooden beehives, and not recommended for use in Styrofoam hives. An entrance clearance of 1/2 inch or 12 mm is required.  The treatment takes approx 60 seconds, but depends on the power of each individual battery, therefore; we recommend that you perform an initial test outside the hive, to establish the evaporation time for your particular battery. The JB 200 comes with heat protection for the acid tray to prevent scorching. Seal the hive for at least 10 minutes after application using a foam strip or old towel. The treatment with JB200 Electric Vaporizer can be applied 12 months of the year as long as the temperatures are 3-5 degrees above freezing point. Regarding Oxalic Acid: Though it is naturally occurring in many foods including honey, oxalic acid is now regulated by the EPA as a pesticide and may only be used as such if it has EPA-issued labeling. This labeling has only been granted to one source in the US. There are other sources as pure or more pure but they lack the labeling. We only offer oxalic acid as wood bleach (99.9% pure according to the manufacturer) and include it for free with each kit. Great for bleaching top bars and other woodenware.
