Product Features: • One-part adhesive/sealant • Cures at room temperature when exposed to moisture in the air • Acetoxy-cure system • Non-sag, paste consistency • Easy to apply • Cures to a tough, flexible rubber • Good adhesion to many substrates • Stable & flexible from -60°C (-76°F) to 177°C (350°F) with intermittent peaks to 200°C (392°F) • Resistant to sunlight, rain, sleet, snow, UV radiation, ozone and temperature extremes • Retains design properties, even after years of exposure – seals remain watertight and weatherproof • FDA approved – meets extraction requirement 21 CFR 177.2600 • NSF Listed – Standard 51 • UL Recognized • ASTM C920 Type S, NS Class 25 • USDA Rating P-1 Product Limitations: Component Hardware Silicone Sealant – is not recommended for the following applications: • Structural silicone glazing • Joints where physical abuse or abrasion is likely to be encountered • Prolonged water emersion • Porous surfaces, such as masonry • Building materials that may bleed oils, plasticizers or solvents, such as impregnated wood, oilbased caulks, green or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes • Totally confined spaces, as the sealant requires atmospheric moisture to cure • Surfaces sensitive to corrosion by acetic acid vapors (a by-product of the curing process) • Surfaces that will be painted, as paint will not stretch with sealant and can crack or peel. Finish all painting before applying sealant • Bonding to secondary seal of insulating glass units sealed with two-part silicone sealants • This product is neither tested, nor represented, as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical uses Application Method: Dispense from tube, caulking gun or automatic dispensing equipment Container Sizes: 3 fl. oz.
