CONSULTRONICS SHDSL COLT-250 The Easiest Way to Accelerate SHDSL Deployment The CoLT-250S is the most economical test set for verifying that symmetrical SHDSL service is properly delivered to your customers. Simply connect the CoLT-250S to the circuit, turn the unit on, and within seconds you are synchronized with SHDSL DSLAM and displaying SHDSL results on screen. The CoLT-250S is so easy to use, installers can be trained to operate the unit in just a few minutes. The CoLT-250S quickly confirms the presence and speed of the delivered SHDSL service at the customer premise, from 192 kbps to 2.3 Mbps! In this manner, the level of service sold to your customers can be justified. The CoLT-250S utilizes an actual GlobeSpan SHDSL modem inside which means that the CoLT-250S works with all GlobeSpan compatible SHDSL DSLAMs. Loop plant records and automated test systems can pre-qualify a loop, but they are unable to accurately predict the level of SHDSL service that can be achieved. Automated test systems that depend on single-ended testing cannot give a true picture of loop quality. The CoLT-250S displays the actual connection rates as a subscriber would see them.
