 This two pole disconnect switch was developed for use on military vehicles to affect the disconnect of power to the vehicles during maintenance, shipping and storage.  Although rated at 500 Amps DC continuous, additional severe testing has been performed on these units which  showed that this switch would handle up to 800 amps DC continuously.  It also passed the military environmental testing for shock, and vibration without failure. The 1/2-13 studs are treated to resist corrosion  and the switch  is a sealed unit. These switches are also  used on commercial  applications for heavy trucks and buses but would also be perfect for use in marine applications.  The switches are waterproof and have been tested to the US Army waterproofing standards. Supplies are usually limited and seldom do we have extra inventory.   However, based on the current government funding  profiles  in the military procurement system, we do have additional stock on hand.
Condition:
