Continuum© Surelite Series QSW Oven ex-R&D and fully Tested DESCRIPTION The Surelite series Q-Switch is a combination of a Pockes cell, polarizer and λ/4 plate within the oscillator. These optics prevents lasing in the resonator until the laser gain reaches its peak and then opens the cavity to allow oscillation. This then produces ultra-fast, high peak power laser pulses. The QSW Optics Oven encases the plate polarizer element (PP) and maintains a setpoint temperature while also providing two Quarter-Wave Plate (λ/4) optic ports. LASER TEST All measurements at λ=1064nm were conducted using a Pulsewidth ~5ns and QSW Delay of 189μs. Single Shot Burn Pattern HISTORY QSW Oven was last used in an R&D application prior to storage in 02/2016. Inspected optics (i.e PP and λ/4's) and surfaces found free of defects. The unit is in excellent condition and is being sold "AS IS". ITEMS The following items are included as part of the Laser Unit; Optics Oven (Fully Functional Unit). Quart Wave Plate (λ/4) Qty: 2 Dielectric polarizer Qty:1 PAYMENT TERMS Payment must be received no later than 5 working days from the closing date of the auction, unless discussed with the billing party. In the case that payment has not been received within 12 working days, I reserve the right to open an unpaid auction request (Unless otherwise notified).
