Beautiful and Collectable Condition !!! Extremely well preserved late 1800's/early 1900's ASHCROFT Inspectors Pressure Gauge with full copper body and trim ring. Unique to this era gauge is the indictor needle pre-dating the crescent style indicator needle. Brilliantly clean and well preserved brass face.  Glass is thick, beveled and in wonderful condition.  Gauge is in impeccable condition.  Included is a brass extension.  Notice the color variation between the copper gauge and brass extension.  On the extension is a copper petcock valve. Heavy cast body free of rust of other deterioration.  Inside of gauge is as brilliant as exterior.  A true survivor.   A full 2" thick and 6" across the face/7" across the back. Threads on syphon tube are well preserved and strait. Thick casting of this body compliment the heavy glass face and overall construction of the gauge making it a very heavy and sturdy piece for its size.
