I'm not in the beverage industry, I bought this unit at an auction. It's from a Starbucks that was located inside a Barnes and Nobles that closed down. This unit was manufactured in 2005, but hasn't been used in the past 5 years. I emailed Cornelius to find out what this item is, and here is their response. The unit you have is a cooling unit that was designed to cool liquid at a remote location, circulate it through an insulated bundle of beverage tubing, and deliver the cooled liquid at a point of dispense. The unit was designed to be used in conjunction with a dispensing tower or some type of dispenser. The unit was manufactured in June of 2005. It is called a UCCR Chiller, but it is actually an Olympus platform that was converted to a recirculating type of cooling unit.
10 years old , but only used 5 of the 10 years.
