This Corning 2000 mL Pyrex glass graduated cylinder is 20 1/2 high, with a 5 5/8" wide hex base, and 3 1/2" diameter top rim.  It can be considered vintage. The graduation marks on the exterior of the cylinder are etched into the surface rather than being a silk-screened decoration applied onto the surface. The silkscreen decoration is less expensive to produce, and is found on more recent production.  The etched markings are typically created by first coating the surface with a thin layer of wax. Then the wax is scratched or scribed away with indexing machinery where the markings are desired. Next, the wax surface is exposed to an acid etch, likely hydrofluoric acid for glass, which etches only where the wax was removed. The wax is then dissolved away, leaving behind the permanent etched-in markings. I also have for sale a similar vintage 1000 ml Corning Pyrex glass graduated cylinder.  Buy both together, and shipping costs will be lower.
