Corning Vectron 4859 SMOCXO Crystal Oscillator 4-40MHz, 10MHz Standard, TESTED Here is a Corning Vectron 4859 SMOCXO Crystal Oscillator. It has been thoroughly tested by our engineer and is guaranteed to be in fine working order and NEW cosmetic condition with no sign of use, as shown in the photos. Only the Corning Vectron 4859 SMOCXO Crystal Oscillator is included in this auction. No other cables, devices, or accessories. From Our engineer: We do not have an exact match between the part number on the oscillators and the part numbering detail on the data sheet to determine the temperature coefficient of these oscillators. These oscillators are of high enough accuracy that significant performance improvement is seen when the complete oscillator package is installed in an thermal insulating enclosure to improve thermal stability. For our bench testing we installed the oscillator between two layers of closed cell packing foam. After a two hour warmup time. The oscillator was then tuned with the use of an external DC voltage standard to the frequency of our Rubidium frequency standard. And the first photo of the frequency counter was taken. Then one hour latter the second photo was taken to show drift from the first reading. Note that the frequency stability is directly affected by ANY changes in the +5.00 VDC supply. Also the EFC voltage must be supplied by a stable reference like a LT1021 or equivalent part. Our test voltage for the EFC was 2.4580 VDC for 10.000000 MHz output.
