SquareTrade © AP6.0 Corrosion-Gone Battery Contact & Electrical Contact Cleaner Corrosion-Gone is a gel made to remove the schmutz from all types of battery terminals, circuit boards and electrical contacts. It works on everything from car electronics to computer boards. Baking Soda paste works well too but the moisture in that is not a good thing for delicate electronics. This product is a 0.3 oz. jar, which doesn’t sound like a lot of product, but it doesn’t take much per application so 0.3 ounce will last longer than you might think. Usually just a couple of swab dips and you’re all done. Corrosion-Gone has become a gotta-have in my personal tool bag. Besides using it for servicing any electronic product subject to corrosion, it also works very well on brass items that have gotten that ‘gooey-green-stuff’ disorder, like the mechanical clocks we service.
