CORTEC VpCI 126 (Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor) Zip Blue Bag tm gun & part corrosion free storage, measure 12” wide X 18” long and feature a zip closure. The CORTEC “Blue Bag” tm is extruded by CORTEC Corporation & feature the use Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitors that benefit you by providing the best rust and corrosion control for metal objects stored in the Blue Bag tm. This product is used by major weapon & other manufacturers of metal products where rust control is required from the factory to the end user. The Blue Bag tm is ISO 9001 compliant for exacting and best performance. Used by various NATO, DoD and other agencies for best corrosion control storage solution. Simply insert the weapon or metal object into the Blue Bag tm, depress the bag to exhaust excess air and zip closed. It is that easy to prevent anything metal inserted into the Blue Bag tm from being damaged by rust and corrosion. Be sure to date the start date of use on the Blue Bag tm as these are designed to provide up to 2 years of corrosion free storage. If you wish to not use the object within the 2 years, the Blue Bag tm is produced with another feature, heat shrink film that can be shrunk down around the object….the benefit is that by shrinking the film down, little to zero puffed space is left so this makes storage easier as less space is required. We’ve been asked before, “can I bury my what- ever and not have corrosion?” Yes you can, be sure to heat shrink the Blue Bag tm first for best seal, & when the object is removed from the ground & taken out of the Blue Bag tm it will be just like the day the object was inserted into the CORTEC VpCI 126 Blue Bag tm. These are great for cameras, automotive/motorcycle parts, silver service (FDA approved), from sword & knife collectors, gun enthusiasts, fisherman, mechanics, antique car, antique motorcycle & airplane enthusiasts & even camera enthusiasts. If it is metal and you want rust free storage this is the most economical way to go! Raining while taking pictures? Dry the camera as best as possible before insertion, insert into the Blue Bag tm, zip closed & you've knocked corrosion out! I’ve carried my Sony digital camera in the Blue Bag tm since new, which is now about 5 years old, no greening or white oxides seen on the camera that continues to be exposed to the elements from use. It is not the incidental use that causes the damage from corrosion, it is the storage time, the time you are not using your gear that corrosion begins to damage & can ultimately destroy your equipment.
