This unit takes 115V power from the included power cord. There are 35 tube wells in the heater block 8mm in diameter, one of which is occupied by a temperature sensor. On front is an LCD, a keypad, and heater and cooler indicator lights. On the back is an unlabelled 9-pin female D connector and a reset button. The power button on the front is missing its plastic cover and it requires a tool of some kind to press the button in far enough to "catch". When plugged in and turned on the unit's fans start up and the display comes on. It responded to key presses and when the test program was run it ramped up to 50° and then 95° C. Even though the unit reached a stable temperature at 95 degrees, though, it didn't seem to realize this and remained in "ramping to 95 degrees" mode.
