CRL TAPER-LOC "X" Taper Sets 1/2" to 3/4" Tempered Glass. Qty: 10 Sets. Each set contains 20 Shims & 10 L-Blocks. List Price 146.50 CRL's TAPER-LOC™ Taper Set for 1/2"-3/4" Glass is made up of two Tapers and one L-Pressure Block. Tapers are made of high strength reinforced nylon. They expand in thickness when compressed together with the Cat. No. TLK5 Installation/Removal Tool, mechanically locking the glass panel into the base shoe. The TAPER-LOC™ L-Pressure Block is made from high strength reinforced nylon. It spaces the glass away from the base shoe's vertical wall on one side and at the bottom edge, and is attached to the glass panel prior to installing into the base shoe with an adhesive tape strip that is pre-installed. It also serves to insulate the glass panels from damage during insertion into the base shoe and, at the same time, center the glass in the pocket.
