CRYOFAB CMSH-60 LIQUID HELIUM DEWAR, NEW IN BOX, $5,000 RETAIL, FREE SHIPPING!! This is a stainless-steel 60 liter dewar intended for liquid Helium manufactured by Cryofab. This is a new and unused tank, we've only removed it from the box to take pictures of it (and the above pictures are of the actual tank). This stainless steel dewar features: all welded construction, an integral caster base, removable/interchangeable manifolds and the lowest loss rates in the industry. It can be used for air transport and unlike other dewars, it doesn't require liquid nitrogen shielding or helium gas circulation. Plus, it's also suitable for neon and all other liquid gases. The Specs for this CMSH-60 Liquid Helium dewar are: Capacity: 60 Liters Gross Capacity: 65 Liters Weight (Empty): 192 Pounds Material of Construction: 304 Stainless Steel Normal Evaporation Rate: 1.5% Operating Pressure: 10 PSI Design Pressure: 45 PSI Neck ID: 1.45" (37 mm) Depth (Flange to Bottom): 37" Outside Overall Diameter: 24" Overall Height: 51" Maximum Transfer Line O.D. : 1/2" Minimum Transfer Line O.D. : 3/8" Transfer Line Length for Withdrawal: 46" Minimum Fill Lance Length: 30" Caster Size: 4" Vent Construction (MNPT): 1/2" We actually called Cryofab in New Jersey to ask how much this tank costs new. They told us the retail is $4,438. This tank also includes the CMSH Access Port for CMSH dewars of up to 150 Liters. The access port alone costs $235. add the cost of the dewar along with shipping and taxes and your cost is well over $5,000!! Cryofab informed us that as long as the dewar was stored at room temperature while not in use (which it was), it should perform flawlessly. Since the dewar is unused, Cryofab also told us that they can re-certify it and provide a one year warranty on it for a mere $250. The re-certification process involves mass-spectrometer testing, vacuum testing, pressure testing, temperature testing and actually filling it with liquid helium. While you'd have to send the tank yourself to Cryofab for the re-certification process, it's still a great way to get a factory warranty for this dewar and the re-certificaiton process only takes only one week. We will ship this dewar anywhere in the 48 Contiguous United States for free. Due to the size and weight of this item, buyers in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico or international locations are not eligible for free shipping (please contact us for a freight quote with your location). We have a custom, Krug, hard panel case on wheels (used by musicians while touring) that just so happens to fit this dewar in its box. This Krug case alone costs $900, but we'll ship the dewar inside of it to keep it safe and protected. You'll easily be able to roll the case right into your mad-scientist lab without drawing too much suspicion.
