The tape's ultra-high molecular weight (UHMW) polyethylene surface resists abrasion and impact for use in packaging applications. The UHMW polyethylene tape also has anti-stick and low friction properties for a slippery yet protective surface that enables sliding ease and reduces noise in packaging applications. To attach securely to surfaces, the tape has 0.005" thick pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive backing. This tape has a maximum tensile strength of 18 and a temperature range of 32 to 150 degrees F for use in above-freezing conditions. The 4-3/4"-diameter roll of tape provides 18 yards of 1" tape.
