The CST/berger Magna-Trak 200 magnetic locator with hard case (Part # CST-19-200HC) detects magnetic fields emitted by underground ferrous and ferromagnetic objects. Ferrous objects contain iron while ferromagnetic objects contain iron, cobalt, or nickel. On the LCD display, users visualize a peak response and they hear an audio signal through the speaker. Both of these signals let you know when your Magna-Trak magnetic locator has located an object within a 20-inch depth. Made of aluminum and plastic, this waterproof magnetic locator is built for detecting objects in rain or snow. With power line indication, single-hand operation, and adjustable sensitivity, the MT200 serves as an asset to any ferromagnetic locating job. And the MT200’s carrying case protects it as you travel from one job site to the next. Selective Magnetic Location The CST/berger MT200 detects only ferromagnetic objects. This means you do not have to worry about erroneous objects affecting your location accuracy. Such interruption can occur with objects made of aluminum, brass, or copper. Two-Way Visual and Audio Response When the Magna-Trak 200 finds an object, it gives off a digital, numeric response as well as a bar graph on the LCD display.
