Up for sale is a beautiful, western Bible cover with a cowboy kneeling at the cross! This brown Bible cover is stunning! It is hand-made and hand-tooled by my dear friend who does this for his living. This cover is so unique and one-of-a-kind! It has a brown base which shows through in select places, with light black airbrushing done by hand across the rest of the cover. It features a humble cowboy with hat in hand kneeling at the cross with his horse in tow. The cowboy, horse and cross are done in brown and placed in the center of the front. It is surrounded by a beautiful floral and basket weave tooling. The flowers are airbrushed burgundy for just a touch of color The back is done in a diamonds with the brown showing though the black airbrushing surrounded in the corners with burgundy, floral tooling in the corners. The spine reads "Holy Bible" in a gorgeous, tooled font with the brown showing through the airbrushing. The inside of the cover is lined with black leather including a pocket on either side for notes or a church bulletin. There are two additional slots for the cover of your Bible to slide in. This cover is for a medium to large sized Bible. It measures 15 1/8 X 10" open and 7 - 7 1/2" (the variation allows for the thickness of your Bible inside) X 10" closed. I have included many pictures for your reference. Please remember that hand-made leather items are made from a cowhide that could feature flaws as is the nature of the material.
