Up for sale is a hybrid Ocean Optics USB2000+ spectrometer.  This setup is perfect for anyone who wants to put together his/her own spectrometer and have one that actually works.  I have sold these before with great success so please look at the attached pictures of different ideas on how other people have built them.  When you are all done building yours, please contact me and I will walk you through the final steps of calibrating it.  Although you need the proper tools to calibrate it 100% properly, the calibration help I will give you will be enough to get it calibrated pretty close and should be good enough for non critical work.  I have built and used many of these myself and they really do work very well.  Depending on how you ask me to set it up, I can make it have a wide wavelength range like from 200nm to 1050nm or, for better resolution, a narrower wavelength range like from 400nm to 800nm.   It really is exciting building your own spectrometer and I think it would be perfect for education, research, hobbyists, etc.  I also think the new owner will appreciate the chance to see just how all of this works.  You will be getting 10um or 25um slit size but if you have special requirements for a slit size please let me know and I will see if I can accommodate it.  Thank you.    I have been an Ebay member since 2001 with 100% positive feedback.  For any questions simply click here, Contact Me.
