Are you a budget-minded woodworking hobbyist wanting to step up to a spiral style thickness planer to handle hardwoods and figured stock? Then take a look at our 40100H-CT. While still being a hobbyist planer, our new model 40100H-CT incorporates our newly redesigned spiral style cutterhead utilizing 26 individual dual-sided cutter tips rotating at 10,000RPM. The new cutterhead design not only provides easier cutter tip rotation and replacement alignment, when combined with the newly upgraded dust chute design, tear out due to poor chip extraction is virtually eliminated. The 40100H-CT still operates as the 40100-CT, but you do not have to change out or rotate a complete knife. Only rotate or replace the individual damaged or worn cutter which results in enormous time savings. The 40100H-CT still maintains a feed rate of 26 FPM to keep your projects on time and boasts the same powerful 120 VOLT 15 AMP motor.
