This is a Cypress PSoC3 FirstTouch Starter Kit. It includes all the hardware needed to learn how to use the PSoC to design simple projects and acquire skills that can be applied to using the PSoC hardware to produce more complex systems. The board includes a proximity sensor, a USB port, an accelerometer, 8 LED outputs, a 28 pin external I/O, and a thermistor. The included CD has all that is needed to do basic programming. More information may be obtained at the cypress website. This has never been used. I got it to look into this type of system design, but got side tracked into other forms of instrument design. It was produced in 2009. This kit was discontinued in 2014, but the techniques that can be learned from this kit are transferable to man of their current products.
