         This listing is for a lot of five (5) RN65C Dale/Vishay 1 Megohm 1% Carbon Film resistors. These are new old stock 1% tolerance 1/2 watt carbon film resistors. These are very high quality epoxy coated carbon film on glass resistors with metal cap ends and welded leads. I broke one apart to show the carbon film on the glass insulator. The leads are roughly 2 inches long on each side. These resistors are perfect for restoring input resistance and other critical applications in vintage tube amp's. They do not affect tone the way metal film and other types of resistors can. Carbon film resistors are the choice of professional amp builders around the world. They have the same great tonal characteristics of the old carbon composition resistors without the problems of noise and drifting of resistance value when put under high temperature conditions. I have used many of these in my own amps and I can guarantee you that every one of these resistors will be within 1% of their said value. I was told by the seller that I got these from that they were Dale Vishay. One ebayer told me that the CGW indicates that these were made by Corning Glass Works in Corning, NY. I don't know if this is the case or not. If so, then it's nice to know that these are good ol MADE IN THE USA high quality resistors. Either way, it doesn't get much better than this when it comes to carbon film resistors.        Payment is by Paypal only and expected within 24 hours of purchase.
