Darda Model 11 splitter, 300 tons of concrete/ rock splitting power. Fingers and wedges on it are not the greatest but are serviceable. I have a new set of wedge/ fingers (oily/ surface rust only and I will clean that for you) that I will sell separately for an additional $300 to the buyer if they so choose. I also have an air hydraulic pump and hose set that I will sell for $1100 if they so choose (plus I have extra air motor parts set). Or, I have a good start to a gas hydraulic unit (Greenlee not Darda) that I will sell for $350 to the buyer if they so choose, which should do the job nicely as well. This unit is in very good working condition, don't want to sell but I have completed my job and no longer need the equipment. Local pickup preferred. If you look closely at the picture I have removed the hydraulic hoses and connections and covered up with rag, that is because I have an entirely new set of high pressure 18" hoses and high pressure connections for unit and did not want to get any dirt or dust into the splitter cylinder. I used this unit to split 4' thick concrete slabs with 3/4 rebar and 6x6 double wire, no problem. At that slab thickness (and it was extra heavy limed concrete), it took about 2000 psig to effect the split (unit pumps to 7100 psig). The product literature says it will split up to 15' thick and I don't doubt it one bit. People who sell this unit are out of NY state and are some of the nicest people to deal with. These units sell new for $12K and the air motors for $6K, so I think this is a good deal for a good used unit. To use the splitter, you will need the ability to drill a 1 3/4 diameter hole in what you want to split, at least half again as long as the fingers (20" overall depth). That will take a pretty good rock drill (I have an IR 72#, works pretty good, not for sale but including as a data point as you will need that kind of capability). All prices listed are for concrete splitter only, any other stuff you want to buy will be additional costs. I accept PayPal, need a $500 deposit until you show up and like what you see. Being it is Winter for a while longer, will wait for your travel plans for 30 days. If you purchase, I will run them for you and if you are not completely satisfied I will give you your money back. I can ship unit to you but cannot accept a return if you go that way and need full payment up front (besides, Ohio is a nice place to visit).
