Darling, Brown & Sharp: 12" Steel Rule: Early & Collectible

  This a heavy old steel rule: 1&1/4" wide and about 1/16" thick weighing close to 7 oz. Making it unique and collectible is that it is imprinted D, B & S Prov. R.I.. Samuel Darling was a Brown & Sharpe partner from 1866 -1892. Graduations on one side read 16,32, 64 on one edge and 14, 28 on the other, On the other side they read 12, 24, 28 on one edge and 10, 20, 50 & 100 on the other. There is some discoloration but all numbers and graduations are easily read. A nice  rule over 100 years old.
