This is a complete DATA I/O Model 29B programmer kit. It is designed to program PROMs, EPROMs, and all types of PLDs (Programmable Logic Devices) It accomodates through hole devices up to 28 pins. This programmer can be used completely stand alone (without connection to a computer). Or, it can be attached to a computer to store and recall codes to be stored into programmable devices. The items included in this auction are as follows: One Data I/O Model 29B Progammer. it is Model 990-003-011 A4 with serial number 5403112, I plugged it in and it goes through the boot process and comes to ready, There is a UNIPAK2.The The UNIPAK2 has Seven sockets from 16 pin to 28 pin. Tlhis is the workhorse of the programmer. Usually in a repair operation you need ONE prom copied. With this you readd in a good prom and put in a blank and invoke the copy option, and you have it. It is p/n 950-0059-016 v15.0 s/n 1104111. Also, there is a GANGPAK which accomodates up to Eight 24 pin dual in line chips at a time. It is p/n 950-0077-008 V7.1 and s/n 1300695. With this adapter you can either blow a set of 8 proms, two sets of 4 proms or 8 individual identical proms at one time. Then I have two special adapters. They plug into a interface that I do not have. It is pretty easy to get and then these will we totally active also. They are as follows: 940-0919-F v7.1 Programming/Testing Adapter. It includes on a 20-pin dip on a 715-0064 socket. 940-0910-10 Programming/Testing Adapter. It includes one 16-pin dip socket on a 715-1027-2 socket. I am including five manuals for the Model 29B system. Number 1 - 29B Programming System Ram Update Kit with Field Buletins. p/n 985-0040-002' Number 2 - Prom Link 6 User manual. PC/Prtogrammer Interface Software. (Manual only on software). Number 3 - Unipak 2/2b Software update kit. It is p/n 961-0001-003 and includes schematics, troubleshooting, alignment. Number 4 - 1991 Wall Chart of Programmable Devices it is BIG. They tried to put all the information on every devicee on one huge chart. INVALUABLE info. Number 5 - UNIPAK 2 operations, troubleshooting, etc. includes a 1980 prom chart. NOTE - the device turns on and goes through initial power on test and comes to ready. I believe it to be OK, but cannot guarantee it. There are numerous stickers on the front panel which could have good information, so I did not remove them.
