Dayton basin pump 12F738 Pump is designed to pump water up from a sink or laundry tub where a floor drain or conventional drain is missing Water drains into the 6 gal basin and there is a pump inside with a float switch on it. Water reaches a certain height in basin and pump comes on, and pumps water up and over to drain piping . Eliminating having to bust up floor and running drain pipes. I also have the check valve to prevent water from draining back into the basin included.
