DC Motor.  1.5 Horsepower.  Variable Speed.  Nominal Speed = 1,750.  180 Volt.   7.8 Armature Amps.  Heavy Duty.   Totally-Enclosed, Fan-Cooled.  Rated for Continuous Duty.  Class F Insulation.  Made by the US firm Magnatek.    Current MSRP price for new one is over $1,000.  These are real heavy-duty workhorses:  I am in the process of installing them on both of my Powermatic 20" bandsaws and one of my Leblond Regal metal lathes.   Dimensions.    Frame = 143TC.  Can be mounted with C face or base.  Shaft = 7/8" x 2".  Centerline of shaft is 3.5" above the mounting surface of the base. Weight =  70 pounds. Background.  Removed from hospital / medical equipment [such as stress-test tread mills] that were replaced by new models with computerized instrumentation..  Was lightly used and carefully maintained is a very clean environment. Condition.  Very good.   This motor has been tested using the popular Minarik AC-to-DC controller.  It runs quietly and smoothly over the entire speed range, in both the clockwise and counter-clockwise directions, ramps up and down smoothly, etc.  Carefully cleaned, prepped, and painted with Rustoleum's new Hammered Enamel. Guarantee.  If the buyer finds that his motor is not as good, or better, than photographed and described in this eBay listing, he/she is invited to return it, and I will immediately refund all of the money they sent.  Period  -- no quibbling.   Shipping.  Seller does not charge any packing or handling fees. Buyer pays shipping fees. Seller pays for insurance while motor is in-transit.
