Concentricity automatically assured with diameter on which part is held. Fast setup (average 3 minutes). 50 millionths tolerance is no problem on an ordinary toolroom surface grinder. Extreme rigidity makes it easy to hold microscopic tolerances. Exceptionally heavy cuts easily handled by extra capacity, heavily loaded, precision bearings. Lack of vibration adds to high finish and longer wheel life. Positive drive and smooth, quiet operation through timing belt and pulleys. Fully enclosed, heavy duty, variable speed motor. Speed control uses silicon solid state rectifiers for efficiency and long life. Optional limit switch control for high speed operation. Built in cooling system using machine coollant or a separate pump. Optional sine base makes angular grinding easy. Integral mounting facilities for radius dresser cuts lost time for dressing. Designed for use on all surface grinders, 6 x 12 or larger.
