You are bidding on the pictured DeJUR Grundig Stenorette Dictation Reel To Reel Recorder w Mic and magnetic earphones and foot peddle control . This item is marked made in W. Germany so it dates from 1949 to 1990. This has to be one of the earliest models as the later models have individually separated keys and the more recent models don't look like the 1900's typewriters. This is being sold For Parts. With no returns. Item will be shipped in two USPS flat rate boxes. The Recorder alone weighs in excess of 10 pounds and will be shipped in a Large Flat Rate box. I plugged it in and it started humming like the IBM Electric Typewriter I used in High School. The Fast forward and rewind key seem to work. Didn't get to test anything else as the magnetic tape cartridge exploded and wrapped the tape all cattywumpus around the spool. See pics. In addition, the keys are a little sticky - as the carriage below the keys needs to be adjusted. The stop key does not return to full height. It does work but it is clumsy. This item includes the untested microphone, untested earphones, and untested peddle control. This is a used/estate item is being sold in the condition shown in the pictures.
