Used but fully functional Incredibly quiet/brushless motor Cold Room Compatible QuickSpin Feature Compact ( 9 x 11 inch footprint ) With state-of the art digital brushless technology, the Denville 260D provides all the most requested features in a single afforable microcentrifuge. The 260D may be used in a cold room and its autoclavable rotorshave a clear cover that "snaps" on or off easily with one hand. The 45 degree angle rotors accept all types of 1.5ml to 2.2ml tubes, including screw top and self-standing "skirted" tubes.  Researchers have repeatedly asked for a high speed unit that is quiet, but remains cool during repetitive / prolonged operation. The 260D, with its efficent ventilation system, is completely self-cooling. Even after successive 30 minute spins, sample temperature will not increase more than 5 degrees celsius. And, the 260D is the quietest centrifuge in its class.  Digital display of time and and speed with simple "one touch" keypads make setting of parameters quick and easy. The 260D may be used for timed or momentary spins, generating up to 16,000xg (14,000 rpm).
